Vendor Eligibility
Vendor Fee:
- $15 per market for for-profit businesses
- $10 per market if committing to all 10 markets upfront
- $5 per market for non-profits
Vendors must operate or have their headquarters within 100 miles of Colfax, WA.
Accepted vendor categories include:
- Fresh Produce & Flowers: Locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and fresh cut flowers from regional farmers.
- Baked Goods & Specialty Foods: Freshly baked breads, pastries, cookies, jams, jellies, honey, and other homemade treats.
- Food Trucks & Restaurant Booths: Mobile food vendors or local eateries offering prepared meals, beverages, or specialty snacks.
- Handmade Crafts & Art: Unique, handcrafted items such as pottery, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, candles, and other artisan goods.
- Dairy & Meat Products: Locally sourced meats, eggs, cheeses, and other dairy products from area farmers and producers.
- Health & Wellness Products: Handmade soaps, lotions, essential oils, herbal remedies, and other natural wellness products.
- Local Authors & Musicians: Writers selling their books, musicians selling recorded music, or performers offering live entertainment.
- Non-Profit & Community Organizations: Local groups promoting community initiatives, outreach programs, or educational resources.
- Other Locally Made Products: Any other products that support and reflect the creativity and craftsmanship of the region
Vendor Application Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Colfax Farmers Market! The market will be held twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from May through September in downtown Colfax, WA at 101 N Main St (US Bank Parking lot) and on Spring Street between Main St & Mill St. We aim to support local businesses, farmers, and artists while fostering a vibrant community event for locals and visitors to enjoy for years to come!
Requirements
- All booths are required to be set up and ready by 3:45 PM for a safety inspection by the market safety officer.
- All canopies or signs must be equipped with weights to prevent injury and damages from flying equipment due to wind.
- Vendors must comply with all local health and safety regulations.
- Food vendors must provide proof of applicable permits.
- Vendors are required to keep their booth open and staffed for the entire duration of the market unless they have sold out of products.
Attachments
- Vendors are required to attach photos of their products and a description or pictures of their market setup.
- Each vendor space will be 10x10 feet, and all signage, tables, displays, and other materials must be contained within this designated area
Submission Instructions
- Submissions are not guaranteed acceptance as a vendor. Space is limited.
- Acceptance to one market date does not guarantee acceptance to all future markets.
- The Colfax Farmers Market reserves the right to refuse market vendors returning if they fail to follow the expressed requirements or engage in any illegal or unneighborly activity.
- A committee will review all applications, and all applicants will receive an acceptance or refusal letter within two weeks of submission via email or snail mail, depending on the method used to apply.
- Payment is due within 10 days of receiving an acceptance letter to secure your vendor spot. Failure to submit payment on time may result in the forfeiture of your space.
- Liability Waiver: Vendors acknowledge that the Colfax Farmers Market and the Colfax Chamber of Commerce are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damages incurred during the market.
- Compliance with Laws: Vendors must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including health and safety regulations.
- Refund Policy: Vendor fees are refundable only in cases of family emergencies, health issues, or other extenuating circumstances, subject to approval.
- Weather Policy: The market will operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.
- Indemnification Clause: Vendors agree to hold harmless the Colfax Farmers Market, the Colfax Chamber of Commerce, and associated entities from any legal claims resulting from their participation.
