Celebrating Our Student of the Month:
Braxden Gransbery!

January

“My name is Braxden Gransbery, I am the son of Betty Jo (BJ) and Dennis Gransbery. I am honored to be recognized by the Colfax Chamber of Commerce as Student of the Month.

I have participated in various sports like varsity football and wrestling where I am a team captain. I was selected as an all league linebacker for football.
I am involved in various extra activities: President of Future Business Leaders of
America, member of the National Honors Society, and member of the Onecho Youth Group. I also snowboard, play video games, and enjoy weightlifting. I participated in band for six years and was a cub scout.

I served as a volunteer at many events to raise funds for sports, clubs, and people in the community.  I also volunteered my time to coach Little Guy Wrestling.
While a student in Germany at a Department of Defense school, I was my class President and Treasurer.  I started a group which helped students make new friends and helped remodel a youth group facility.

During the summer I worked different jobs including lawn mowing, construction, and stacking hay. After High School, I plan to either join the Navy as a SEABEE as a Heavy Equipment Operator or go into the Navy ROTC and attend either WSU or San Diego State University for a Construction Management major.

Once again I would like to thank the Colfax Chamber of Commerce for selecting me as the January Student of the Month.”

Congratulations Braxden!
